February Campout
108 Cabin
On the weekend of February 27th through March 1st, a group of 13 scouts and 4 leaders camped at the 108 cabin in East Greenville, PA, which is owned by Troop 108. When we got to the camp, we unpacked our things and made Hot Dogs for dinner. As we also had fun inside the cabin, which included 2 floors, bunk beds, and a stove. As we all played board games, like Chameleon, where you have a list of words, except for one person, the chameleon and hung out in our beds, and made lasting memories. That was our first night at the 108 cabin.
The next day, we had Pancakes and Sausage for breakfast. And also played basketball and football. It was a beautiful weekend with not a lot of bad weather. So some of our scouts made a fire to pass the time. At Lunch we had Pigs in a blanket and Mac and Cheese. Which was very well made by all of our cooks. As we did more of basketball and football around the campsite. As our dinner would be Cheesesteaks on our Blackstone grill, to end our campout with a bang.
In the morning, we all packed our stuff. Played some more basketball, football, and had fun in the cabin. But we needed to go home. As we went on our way home, we thought about the fun at the camp we had had that weekend. Even if it was just a weekend, It will always be mine and many others' favorite campout. This was our weekend at the 108 cabin in East Greenville, PA.
Previous Scouts Corner Posts:
January 2026
On the weekend of January 24th through the 25th, a spirited group of Scouts ventured to Klondike, an annual competition that showcases scouting skills and camaraderie. Held at the stunning Horseshoe Scout Reservation in Rising Sun, Maryland, the event was challenged by frigid temperatures, peaking at 30 degrees and plunging to a bone-chilling 3 degrees, with a snowstorm forcing an early conclusion.
Klondike is a highlight of the scouting year, and the excitement was in the air. Scout Patrick emphasized the lesson of being prepared and taking no shortcuts, noting that “The Cold” was the most challenging part. Will R eagerly expressed, “I would like to do it again,” reflecting the adventurous spirit in the air. Sam fondly recalled making walking tacos as a memorable moment.
Overall, this Klondike weekend was a blend of fun, resilience, and the joy of good food, creating lasting memories for all 377 Scouts who participated.
October Campout to Gettysburg & Ghost Tour
Troop 377 visited Gettysburg as we camped from October 17th through the 19th. We camped at a nearby state park and had many fun adventures and excellent weather. That weekend, we toured the Gettysburg battlefield and went to a museum for the Battle of Gettysburg, as we were a part of an interactive experience where we got to see the battle run through the streets of Gettysburg. After that, we went on a hike, showing the scouts some of the battlefield, where we saw the Castle at Little Round Top, which commemorates the soldiers. Before our ghost tour, we had Cheesesteaks made by our fellow scout, Chase. As it was time for our ghost tour, where we learned about the scary history of the town. As that was our weekend at Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, we would like to thank everyone who used a weekend of their time to help our scouts have the best campout and join us for an excellent campout.
